PD Dr. Theodora Wahler (born Manoli) studied medicine at the University of Athens and the University of Heidelberg. During her long experience at the University Hospital of Tuebingen as a resident and later as a chief consultant, she was specialized in microsurgical and reconstructive techniques, especially in peripheral nerve surgery, limb and breast reconstruction. After completing her habilitation in 2017, she became a senior lecturer of Plastic Surgery at the University of Tuebingen. Since 2019 she is the Head of the Department of Hand, Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at the Medius Clinic Nuertingen, an academic Hospital of the University of Tuebingen in Germany. She is an author of 40 papers on the field of plastic, reconstructive and hand surgery.
