Greetings from President of the Organizing Committee
Dear friends and colleagues
It was a great honor for me to be proposed by the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery to take over the Presidency of the 16th Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Congress , which will be held at the Athens Convention Center between October 7-10, 2026.
I invite and welcome you, all together and each of you individually, to our 16th Congress, looking forward to your strong support both on a scientific and social level.
At a time when Plastic Surgery is under siege, attacked and abused in many of its fields by non-specialists and non plastic surgeons, my primary goal was to provide in-depth coverage of all its fields, especially those that receive the greatest proportional impact.
In collaboration with my colleagues of the Scientific and Organizing Committee, a program was prepared with many innovations, including: video surgery and how I do it sessions with detailed demonstration of surgical techniques, many keynote lectures with sufficient time to fully cover their topics, round tables focusing on the necessary discussion time, sessions exclusively focusing on the complications of reconstructive and aesthetic techniques, free presentation sessions with significant discussion time for the presentation of the work of our colleagues in various fields, sessions focusing on the education, support and preparation of the new generation of Plastic Surgeons, sessions on legal and ethical issues, etc.
The effort was also focused on collaborating with National Plastic Surgery Societies of other countries, within the framework of the internationalization of our Congress, with the aim of its even greater success and scientific promotion beyond Greek borders and we are delighted to have already the confirmed endorsement and collaboration from four different Societies
The dynamic presence of all of us, the solidarity, the common goals, the unity, the selflessness, the publicity and publicizing of our top scientific event will contribute decisively, both to the success, and to the support of the interests of our long-suffering specialty.
Because together we are stronger!
And because my personal goal for this Congress is that the kudos and success to belong to all of us
It will be a special honor for me, but also for my colleagues in the organizing and scientific committees to have you all by our side, to celebrate and enjoy together the success of this Congress!

Greetings from President of the Scientific Committee
Dear Distinguished Colleagues,
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the 16th Panhellenic Congress of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, which will be held in Athens at the Athens Concert Hall from 7 to 10 October 2026. Our congress is taking place every two years, and it is our most important scientific and professional meeting. I am honored and humbled to be appointed as the chairman of the scientific committee but at the same time I feel great responsibility and commitment to organize and deliver a meeting with the highest standards possible.
The central axis will be the presentation of innovative surgical techniques across the spectrum of our multifaceted specialty, as well as original and research papers, round tables and satellite lectures. We have secured excellent Greek and foreign speakers who will provide the at most scientific prestige to our program with their presentations. Always keeping in mind that a conference does not only aim to acquire knowledge and the exchange of professional experiences but that it should also forge friendship bonds between colleagues, we invite you all to actively participate in an inspiring and productive conference.
