In 2010, Professor Frame and like-minded plastic surgeons formed the UK Association of Plastic Surgeons (UKAAPS). UKAAPS is a very important professional collection of plastic surgeons, with a special interest in aesthetic surgery and non-surgical aesthetics. It fits into a niche, exposed by BAPRAS and BAAPS, as a non-charitable organization directed to exclusively support fully accredited plastic surgeons working in cosmetic surgery. Professor Frame is the current President of UKAAPS and has recently published a book with Elsevier in 2018, “Aesthetic Surgery Techniques – A Case Based Approach”.
