Greetings from the Chairman
Dear Colleagues and Honorable Guests,
It is an honor and great pleasure as the President of the 13th Panhellenic Congress of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, to invite you to our bi-annual Congress which is organized by the Hellenic Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and will take place from the 16th to 19st of October 2019 at the Eugenides Foundation of Athens.
This Congress is the main and most significant scientific event of HESPRAS, aiming to cover the entire spectrum and syllabus of Plastic Surgery. It is our main objective to present the leading technology and new developments, advanced and evidence based research, up-to-date surgical techniques and skills and lifelong continuing education in our specialty.
Distinguished speakers both from Greece and Internationally will contribute to the scientific success of our Congress.
At a time that economic adversities, conflicts of social cohesion with a huge social political and financial upheaval due to the refugees influx, particularly alarming initiatives taken by allies and enemies in the wider geopolitical region, our Congress aims at demonstrating that progress in science and health is inseparably linked to the contribution of the human entity, supported by the Hippocratic philosophy and principles applicable to Medicine.
Looking forward to your active and full participation, especially from the younger Plastic Surgeons who are the future, we welcome you to Athens and promise to offer a memorable, prestigious and scientifically unique Congress.
Othon N. Papadopoulous
President to the Organizing Committee
